Parent Resource Center Services: The Center receives food for distribution every 2-3 months. When they know that a delivery is coming, they contact those who have been in touch with them for food help. Contact: Marion Goodman Phone: 207-563-1591 |

Boothbay Region Food Pantry Mission: Serves any residents of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Southport and Edgecomb who need food assistance due to hard times. Contact: The pantry is open every Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Client may come once a month for an allotment of 3-4 days supply of food and a Hannaford’s voucher for perishable items. Pantry is located in the basement of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. Clients may apply for emergency distribution of food in addition to their monthly allotment by telephoning the Congregational Church Office at 207-633-4757 when a true emergency occurs.

The Edgecomb Thrift Shop at the Edgecomb Congregational Church
Services: The Thrift Shop offers
children's, women's and men's clothing. Some household items are also
available. Goods are reasonably priced only to cover the overhead of the
shop. However, if payment is impossible a "gift certificate" will be
given. The shop has expanded its mission by adopting the motto "If we
haven't got it, we'll try to get it for you." The shop makes itself
available to individuals as well as agencies to meet the needs of those
feeling a financial pinch.
